Elliott specializes in lighting; from design, drafting and rendering, to programming and direction. His multi faceted background has also led him to Production Management.
Elliott has a strong background in, and passion for lighting. However, he also earned a bachelor's degree in Audio Arts and Acoustics from Columbia College Chicago. These experiences combined with a continued integration of the worlds of video and lighting mean that Elliott brings a diverse array of knowledge and expertise to any project.
During and immediately after his time in college, Elliott began his career working as a freelancer in Chicago, gaining experience and skill working in Chicago's iconic venues, and for many of its world renowned summer music festivals.
From there, he founded ECTO Productions with his business partners, where he was Director of Lighting for five years and executed a variety of projects ranging from political rallies for the DNC, to concert tours, to corporate activations.
Elliott's more recent projects include Riot Fest Chicago (site lighting), Chance the Rapper's "Be Encouraged Tour" (lighting director), and Luis Miguel's "Mexico Por Siempre" World Tour (lighting director), as well as production managing CID Present's 2020 season of destination concerts, featuring artists ranging from Luke Bryan, to Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds in a Caribbean concert setting on the beach.
Currently, his home base is Playa del Carmen, Mexico where as a PADI Divemaster, he enjoys treating people to an experience underwater very different from a rock concert, but equally exciting.
